Staffers turn slackers

Staffer Dad's on our poop list and Staffer Mom's working her way to it. Dad left our box of snackie treats at the beach last weekend, and we haven't had one in a few days. Staffer Mom's packing a suitcase and she says she'll be gone for a couple weeks for work. This behavior is really unacceptable. If Dad's going to be here with us, he's got to be a bit more responsible about our snackies. And when Mom's gone, our schedule just goes to poo. Dad feeds us late, keeps us up late and tries to take us walking for miles on end.

And on top of that, we hope the blog won't suffer. Staffer Mom is a faster typist than Dad. When she's home, she's always willing to help us out. Dad watches basketball while he he's transcribing our notes and gets things messed up. It takes a lot longer to say what we need to say and he tends to get sucked in to ESPN rather easily. So we should warn you now: It's going to be a weird couple of weeks. Who knows how grumpy we're going to be?

We regular readers will miss you while Mom Staffer is gone. Maybe the male staffer will find his way to the dog treats section of the supermarket. That could be the way to keep you quiet while he watches ESPN. Of course, the best way to do that will be to dress you in scarves, jackets and other apparel that support his favorite teams. Know you will enjoy that. Hope he'll find time to post your comments every now and then. Be sweet (as my mother used to tell me, to no avail) to him.

We hear he's already been to the grocery store, but he hasn't shown any proof yet. She's gone, so he'd better get on it.
And you're right. We need to be sweet to him, but it's sooooo hard.

Our staffer Dad is leaving us for a week also... something to do with his new job in the Navy. What is it with staffers now days thinking they can come and go as they please. Don't they know they are suppose to be here to serve us and are on call 24/7.

Sorry to hear about your staffers -maybe you need to out-source some extra help? I say hit the road and hitch a ride back to the beach. I'll have the treats ready and a good dog show on the tv.

Now that sounds like a plan. We'll meet you guys at the beach house with a box of Pup Corn and some filet mignon flavored jerky treats.

Have fun, Staffer Mom!

Thanks Freddie. We realize we seem pretty wacked, but we're wiener dogs, so we just can't be judged by human standards.
