The staff has returned with tales of another great Savannah Wiener Dog Race on River Street. There's no better way to celebrate Octoberfest on the River!
More than 130 wieners racing and lots of great people there to watch. Wow!
We're sorry we missed it, but the staff showed us the video and some photos and that's all good.

Sorry we couldn't make it again this year. But the US Navy Wiener Dog Racing Team wanted to say it looked like it was a great time in Savannah. Our staffers took us to the Mid-Atlantic Dachshund Phest in Manassas Virginia again this year. There must have been over 1,000 doxis there. We slept for two days after the event. We tried to talk our staffers into letting us race again, but they said our racing jersey’s have been retired. Hopefully we can make it back to Savannah some time to visit.
